For many years now one of our great passions is in the development of Japanese styled gardens, based both on traditional and modern influences. This has been from the design and installation of small courtyard gardens to designing large stroll gardens and executing installations.
We have advised clients on the procurement of all the intrinsic elements of these gardens including selecting and supplying feature stones, granite lanterns, joinery and introduction of appropriate planting including among other things Shaped Maples and Niwaki styled trees.
We pride ourselves on the design and building of many terraced gardens. Achieved as roof gardens or small compact house garden. They are generally installed where access is both limited and difficult to obtain, and we have many years experience in this. We aim to provide in these cases gardens that are as low maintenance as possible.
We also are happy to undertake traditional gardens matching the briefs of our clients, achieving results to meet the client’s demands and budget. Producing detailed planting plan to provide gardens that excite the senses providing full colour flower gardens that are both fragrant and visually stimulating over all the seasons of the year.
Along with providing many solutions for house builder clients, we have also undertaken projects for other commercial clients, in the preparation of letting offices and providing stimulating visual amenity space. And we have also provided one of solutions for public seating areas. Providing the design and procurement of one of masonry built items.
Internal Gardens, Atriums and Hanging Gardens
Recently we have also undertaken the installation of an internal hanging garden this included the use of Japanese kokodama planting (hanging balls), but we also incorporated hanging planters to bring greenery into an internal space. This was also accompanied with Internal bonsai trees. We have also carried out installations specifically for Atriums for commercial clients.
For some customers we also provide a design only service, where required, for the purposes of accompanying planning applications or to just provide an overall strategic plan to allow for the client to plan there gardens future use and this can be looked at in a phased manner.
